Efter valet 2002 gick jag med i CUF. Jag gick med för att ett politiskt intresse väckts under valrörelsen och på grund av att jag tyckte att det var CUF som hade den i särklass bästa politiken när det gäller miljö, frihet och företagsamhet.
Men under min tid som medlem har jag fått ut så mycket mer som jag inte räknat med när jag fyllde i mina kontaktuppgifter på CUFs hemsida i datasalen på skolan i Hofors för 7 år sedan. Jag hade tänkt mig medlemskapet i CUF mer som ett statement än som en ny fritidssysselsättning och ett nytt intresse.
Men det dröjde inte länge innan jag förstod att det var som aktiv medlem i CUF och genom att vara med på kurser och upptåg som jag hade roligast. Men under de år jag varit med i CUF har jag inte bara haft roligt, jag har lärt mig mycket också. Jag är bra på att prata inför folk, jag har blivit en bättre ledare och arrangör och jag kan ta makten.
Jag har tagit makten och få kan sätta sig på mig.
